Green screen production, also known as chroma key, is achieved by recording a subject in front of a green screen background. We then can put any background seamlessly behind the actor or subject by removing the green backdrop. Chroma key production is used every evening on the news during the weather segment. Green screen production is also widely used in movies, allowing actors to appear in special settings, doing elaborate stunts, and interacting with uncommon characters.
